My youngest just informed me that I need not worry about why burgers come out each time she sneezes. I responded with "why shouldn't I worry when I need to?" She replied with a puzzled look. It was one of those, maybe she should now tell the truth looks. I stood there looking at her for a brief moment then continued doing laundry. As soon as I turned my back, she dashed out of there. A few seconds past. She reappeared in the door with with an explanation you shouldn't laugh at. "You shouldn't worry about burgers coming out each time I sneeze because I have stopped eating my burgers so it will stop soon. I now understand why you always ask me to use a tissue and not my mouth." She stood there, head hanging down with shame. So I did the only thing a good parent could do. I gave her my I'm glad you learned your lesson look and a big hug. She seemed pleased with herself...the I got away with something pleased.
Moments like these make my day. I had a good laugh, texted my hubby so he could have a good laugh as soon as he got off the plane.
