It's that time of year...again...Mother's Day. I HATE this holiday. I'm not fond of many holidays, this is my least favorite. My day is spent going from one place to another, with kids who just want to be home, and who are tired of eating. Normally there is usually no one fun at either grandparents place so they just sneak off to be quite and watch TV. This year however there are cousins living with one set, and we have a fun uncle traveling with us. So that makes it twice as great.
Then there is always that gift thing to take care of as well. Seriously another gift?
I finally decided to give my mom the gift she has begin asking for.....pictures. You would think this would be an easy process. Nope not around here. No one in this house hold enjoys getting there pictures taken. People touching you, moving you, telling you how stand, where to stand, too close, too far, oh ya and our favorite "just relax". Relax? How is that possible? Your legs are put in positions that you don't normally have them in, along with your arm positions, lights that blind you, and it's normally cold in these places. Seriously? Relax?
Our friends recommended a place. The picture idea was so last minute, they had a cancellation, we took it. Lucky us, we showed up early, had way too much time to waste so we practiced our poses.
What can I say...we love pictures! Oh ya, the group shot.
Yep, when it's our time we'll be ready.
Oh I forgot to tell you about my favorite part of pictures. It's the process of getting ready for them. The crying for having to brush your hair, brush your teeth, clean your face and wear clothes that you normally wouldn't put together. All while they mumble under their breaths or just scream at you that you (me) "ARE THE WORST MOTHER IN THE WORLD".
